How long will these extensions last for?

The extensions will last for 3-4 months, so long as all aftercare instructions are folowed carefully.

How long do the extensions take to fit?

Fusion and pre-bonded - 2 to 4 hours.

What type of hair do you use?

What products should I use to care for my extensions?

Only specialist extension shampoo and conditioner should be used. Any other shampoo/conditioner will damge the bonds and the extensions will not last as long. Also, an extensions brush should be used to gentley brush the extensions.

What is "maintenance" and how often is this required?

Maintenance is essential to keep your extensions in good condition.

For fusion and pre-bonded: maintenance every 4-6 weeks, Bonds are replaced and added to keep the hair thick. Every bonds is checked to ensure no matting is developing. This is a fixed price of £60 and usually takes around an hour.

For microwefts: Maintenance is required every 2 weeks, but only takes around 20 mins and costs £15. If you prefer, you can come every week for £8 for the same amount of time. Microweft maintenance is very important as the wefts can come loose with hair washing and have to be re-pressed with a special pressing tool in order to keep them secure in the hair.

How are the extensions removed?

To remove the extensions I gently disolve the bonds with a mild dissolvant. This takes around 1-2 hours. Contrary to popular belief, this is not painful at all.

Will the extensions damage my hair?

No, as long as aftercare instructions are followed, your own hair will not be damaged.

Can Extensions be removed and refitted on the same day?

Yes. After the removal your hair will be wahed and blow-dryed, and a new set fitted.
